my friend used aircraft remover to remove the finish. then once its down to the bare metal, he wet sanded it with like 600 grit. wet sanded some more, and then some more, and then some more. and finally he used some metal polish on them.

Hey thanks man, yeah as we speech the rims are drying with the aircraft disolver stuff, it really eats it off, make sure you really goop it all over the rim, i am using 400 grind, cuss i get tired of sanding, but i sanded a bit off the lip, and i can already see the bling (exited) , next step will be sanding fun...lol

i bought aircraft eater ****
400 grit fine, wet paper,
mothers chrome polish, and some sos pads, when i am done illl have my buddy link up pics,

Thanks for everyone help

I finally got most of the painted finish off, i recommend useing a paint brucsh or a wash pad, and bouch it , now i will start sanding them down, then once i get to all aluminum, ill use a lighter grit paper, then a lil anetone, then i will be using mothers chrome cream, then buff
