Any Sony Cyber Shot P73's out there
cool i just brought a P73 and i was just wondering what its capable of doing. Im going to pick up a tripod later on today and hopefully find one of my friends so i can take pics of there cars (my car was stolen)

DSC-P7...2 years old (I think) Here are pictures of my models I built taken with the P7. Pretty hard to get it to focus on small objects and detail. No photoshop used. If i could go back to when i bought it I would've bought a digicam with manual focus.






I actually have the P52 which is a lower end model... Its 3.2 megapixel with only 2X Zoom. It's a decent camera but it sucks for night pics or at least I havent figured out how to take good pics at night. A tripod makes all the difference. But if I could do it again I definetly would of just saved my money for a better camera.

I completely agree. My camera also sux for night pictures. It's depressing to think that you spent 300 dollars for a camera that can't shoot good quality night pix.
I'm thinking of replacing my POS with a Canon.

Yeah, ive tried messing with the flash and the limited settings the camera offers but my night pics usually suck. I scored mine on sale for $200 so it wasn't too bad of a deal but I will most likely go with Canon as well in the future.
