I recently just got some DC 4-1 imatations but it seems like the top flange bolts are way off???
I bought a gasket at auto zone and it does not match up to the header what so ever

I was looking at some others online and also came across some pics of the type r rip offs with the same bolt layout?
is the gasket wrong? or the layout not correcT?

that header looks brutal....you got hosed........i guess you get what you pay for porbably

You'd be much better off just getting some quality, name-brand headers. Even if you find something that bolts on properly, that's no gaurantee you'll actually see the proper performance boost.

 

probably the template the used to drill was incorrect. ebay sucks for knockoffs that dont work well [most things]

 

those are two completly different headers tho... tthat 2nd pic, (type r rip offs) were sold here on hT and people have bought them

the top pic is mine which i agree look way off, performance between mine and the dc's cant be that much different, same bend, same tubing,

the ones i just got are carb exempt too
