Default sohc zc help please

ok well imma go pick up a engine tomarrow and it doesnt have a vavle cover nor dizzy i was woundering if mine will fit?(88 hf) i dont really know what year or anything about the crx but if this helps it was running off a pm6. here a pic



and the other question how long/ hard is it to take a engine out and what tools will i be needing? i have sockets open sockets screw drivers hammer clamps....

help please. for this is my first engine that imma take out and im scared and excited at the same time

im pretty sure that your valve cover will fit, to remove the engine, you will need sockets screw drivers basic hand/air tools, but can be done with all hand tools, also a cherry picker. one word of advice, make sure you label all of your wires and vaccum lines right after you unhook them, most people think they will remember but end up not remembering, since it is your first time it will take probably a few hours

took me 4-6 hours to drop the engine by my self with hand tools(first time) then like another 4-5 hours to drop in the motor and that took 5 guys with no cherry picker .

Distributor will also work if it is off a HF.
