Default My New CRX

After 2 years of selling my old Rex. I finally found one sitting in a little town. I'M BACK GUY'S. The poor thing was sitting in a barn without a flywheel. It came with a 89 Integra engine that had been rebuilt but was never completed because the previuos owner is in the military. The car is loaded with Venom 400 pmc, venom injetors, header back reactive exhaust with highflow cat, 17in Rims on 1 inch low pro, short throe shifter, MSD ignition (complete), Fireball dual exhaust, JDM pg7 computer, port n polished head, 3 angle valve job w/ new seats ant retainers, shaved 1 point to bring up compression to 10.5:1. and even more mods that I haven't found yet on the car. I'M SO EXCITED TO BE BACK TO THE REX WORLD. Now I wish I new about how many horses would all this work kick the engine to? I got this all for only $1000 all its missing is Windshield cracked, front bumper, and flywheel. so was this a deal or what

I dont understand why someone would put that motor into a ed..It doesnt even fit..and no one makes mounts for it to fit.So you have to make custom mounts,,Thats a hard worthless swap..

Should have just gotten a dohc zc..Completly bolt in..

How sure are you that it's a 89 teg swap? I'm like him that is a worless swap. Are you sure it's not a 90 teg? What does the block code read?

The Block code reads: D16A1 and it fit right into the my rex mounts except for the tranny. an extra mount was made for the tranny. The car can use both 89 teg tranny and 88-91 soch tranny. who cares if its a worthless swap. I got it just the way it is for 1000 firm. I think the shell (no rust) is worth it. did I mention it brought a carbonfiber front-end (except bumper). Z3 fenders and hood w/ scoop. Now with all these noone still answered my question. How many Hp can I expect to get from this swap with all these mods.

No one can answer that question..There are to many variables..
Just dyno it and find out..

My estimate is under 105tq since its only 1.6L..
And under 115whp..

b18a/b..People have made over 300whp with turbo on the stock motor with good tuning..

But how much do you want to spend on the whole swap..??

Depending upon the size of the hoodscoop, you can expect around 10,000,000 Horsepower.

I'm just looking for a good starter engine. b18 a/b sounds good. I'm looking to spend about 1000 on the swap if i have to but no more than 1100 for it. However I want a stock engine to work on, I don't need anything that has already been beaten on.

If anyone needs an extra/used hatch for your CRX or passanger side door please email me at: Papito_4@yahoo.com
I desparately need a front bumper for my 90 CRX

L-O-phukkin-L

that was funny.

but seriously, it's hard to estimate horsepower. that's why god invented dynamometers.

thats a first gen integra motor, its not really an ideal swap for a second gen crx. it has less hp and torque then the ZC, so look around for unmodded ZC dynos, lower the numbers a bit and youll have some idea of where you are.

What? There are no new engines. All of these are over 13 years old

an ls block stock without bolt ons will walk a d16a1.
