NEEED HEEELPPP B16A2 EG WONT START AFTER SWAP
Hey i just swapped b16a2 into 92 si
and tried starting it and it doesnt
the engine turns over when you turn the key but not firing
the main relay clicks and fuel pump turns on
i got spark from the distributor and my timing belt looks right to me
showing voltage on the injectors and injector plugs
after cranking after couple times it dont start still
i got fuel pressure by fuel filter and regulator
but i dont have fuel in the cylinders
i will try the starting fluid and let you know how that works
any help appricated
stupid coments keep to yourself

oh yeah checked voltage from ecu plugs to the injector plugs on all four of them its show that it has voltage
and i have 2 p28 ecu
one of them is working for sure cause i had it on the last swap
and after cranking there is no fuel or even smell on the spark plugs
spark plugs are new

what do you mean you got spark from distributor? How did you evaluate it? the old spark plug wire to a metal bolt? I hope not. That ol' trick can't tell you exactlly how much voltage is getting to the plugs. I'm pointing towards a possible ignition problem. either bad distributor, internal parts damaged, or ignitor going bad.

the distributor is good for sure it came off a low miles engine and i opended that up as well and everything was good
and you can actually see the spark when you crank it
the fact is the injectors arent spraying

6 ECT - water temperature sensor
10 IAT - intake air temperature sensor
15 Ignition output signal
22 VTEC pressure valve
i got these cel codes
the 22 vtec one i think its just hasnt built enough oil pressure to work cause it never ran yet
10 iat i got the sensor from b16a3 and plugged it in
15 the distributor gives spark
but no fuel through the injectors
anyone know if any of these cel codes have to do with my problem

BUMP PPL I NEED SOME help
are you getting any fuel in the rail? try taking off the return line and turn the ignition to the on position and see if fuel is going thru. if you get fuel from the return line then maybe the injectors are clogged. if not maybe your fuel filter is clogged. that's all i can think of
good luck
good luck
chk your firing order chk all the fuses and post some update pics of where your at right now in the swap so we can help you better

i'd try checking the order of your sparkplug wires</TD></TR></TABLE>
I was going to say the same thing... 1-3-4-2 starting at bottom left of distributor going clockwise. And the cylinders are number with one being closest to timing belt.

Try swapping the injectors from your old motor over. They're 240cc so they'll work fine on the b16. You did convert everything over to obd-1 correct? Distributor, all sensors?

already swapped the injctors
i did convert the distributor plugs
but those are all the same color so just slice them and match them
nothing complicated there
the alternator from obd1 engine and so are the injectors from obd1 b16a3
