Default EK Power Door Lock Conversion

i have already tried searching for threads on this topic but couldn't seem to find what i needed. i have a 96 dx hatch with si doors which i bought like that and don't know what the seller did with the power locks because they're not there as my alarm installer tells me . i've been trying to figure out what is needed for this conversion first i thought all i need was the actuators, then i find out i need a module, and harnesse(s), and a floor harness. can someone please tell me everything i need and how to do the conversion please

TIA

you will need actuators and door lock module which is like a relay if you are using stock switches. if you already did the power window setup you would most likely have the floor harness already

so i'm still a little confused i need to know EXACTLY what i need so far i know i need:

Actuators
Module (rely)
Door harness (do i need 1 or 2? one just one for driver side or 2 for both?)
and floor harness (would i need this if i already have my power windowns hooked up?)

is there anything else i need or should do? its going in my 96 dx hatch w/SI doors with working power windows

TIA

i believe 96-98 floor harnesses and 99-00 floor harnesses are different.

so 96-98 cars have to use EX parts and 99-00 cars can use either SI or EX parts

yea i've heard this too. but don't know what to do because my car is a 96 DX with 99-00 si doors.

the 96-98 modles have the door lock modules in the driver side door while the 99-00 have them in the kick pannel in near the foot rest.

so i don't know what module and harness i need to get to get it to work

your alarm installer should be able to sell you some door lock solenoids and wire it up to the stock switch as well as your alarm, and a much cheaper price than the honda ones, and just as good

yea i'm thinking about calling it quits and doing that. because this is taking to much work eventhough OEM ones would be nice

I dont suggest getting aftermarket door actuators. they are loud as ****. the OEM ones are much nicer. If you ONLY want power door locks just get the actuators and switch. wire those and forget about the factory wiring

You guys make it seem like its hard as hell. You already have the door with the power locks/windows. The lock is apart of the latch. you just have to wire your alarm to it. that's the way my 98 hatch is done.

if you want a clean install then get the floor harness from a 99-00 si or ex or hx coupe. those 3 came with power windows mirrors and locks and will be a direct swap into your car. you alreay have everything inside the doors I assume so youre just going to need the floor harness and the lock module which you posted earlier. other than that you will need the power window relay, some 20 amp fuses and thats it.

i don't want to have to get the aftermarkets either. i already have power windowns with the switch for the locks, i just need power locks. I also just orded a pair of actuators. i can wire this up to my alarm without the door lock module and floor harness? if so can you tell me how please.
