wheels in winter salt
for those of you with aftermarket wheels.....do you leave them on in the salt and sand during the winter months? i wonder if they will get jacked up even though i would be washing them periodically.
depends on how much snow is comming and how much sand/salt they are putting out...... i usually change out wheels about 3 or 4 times a winter.... if i know it's going to snow.. i roll out the stockers... once the snow is gone and the roads look ok. i roll the wheels back out....
we don't have much salt here (washington) but i don't like the volks being subject to so much sand..
currently running 4 15" black steel wheels.. but i think the snow is done for. what tires do you have that actually get traction in the snow and the summer? my s0-3's wouldn't get traction even if i left them on in the winter..

there aren't any good tires for both winter snow and summer.... go with blizzaks if you want a good snow tire....

So are winterless states.

I use stock honda wheels (right now I'm using prelude wheels) since winter tires for them are nice and cheap, and there aren't many snow tires options for 17's
