I have a 97 civic hatch and i was looking all over H-T in the archives to see if anyone else had this problem but no luck! I hope it's okay to post that in here instead of the appearance and cosmetic.

here is a quick run down of the situation the hatch was rattling and the trunk release wasn't working but i got that fixed. Now the problem is that the Trunk doesn't sit flush with my tailights or the bumper. When i looked at other hatches there isnt a small gap between the tail lights and the edge of the trunk. The rear has never been in an accident before and i'm the 3rd owner of the car. If pix need to be posted then i have a few. I'm not sure how to fix it.

Any help would be awesome.
