Default HID's - Are these bright enough????

I have had my 8500K's for about a year, and I don't think they are as bright as they should be. I took some pics to see if anyone knew if they look like they are adjusted right. Should I get some projector headlights and put these bulbs in them?

Same pic but without the camera's flash on -

In the last pic doesn't that look pretty sorry for HID's, shouldn't they project further on the road. I think they are adjusted too high. Does anyone have pics of thiers up against a wall or something so I can compare mine?

You NEED projectors. And somewhere around 4000-4500k will actually be brighter than what you have now.

Dude you need to get projectors. I'm sure you're blinding everyone on the road. Put you're stock bulbs back in untill you can do it right.

It's not bright enough because your light is going everywhere it's NOT supposed to go. You'd be better off with some PIAA halogen bulbs and stock housings, or a projector retrofit.

I've had them for a year and nobody has ever flashed thier brights at me, so they must not be that bright to oncoming traffic (I'm not kidding either). I do have the glare guard below the bulbs. What kind of projector housings are good?

looks like your in water. Yea hid's without projectors are just not worth it. Usually OEM hid projectors are the best to use. example would be cars like TSX, TL, 350z, there are a lot.

If you ever come to South Carolina let me know and I will make sure not to drive near you.

They're really not that bright coming towards me, I have seen my headlights pointing at me and its not bad at all. Does anyone know what kind of projector headlights would work good for these lights?

350z doesnt have true projectors...its like a hybrid of a reflector/projector. the bulb goes in and the light goes out into the reflector which reflects the light into the projector but some of the light also goes out the sides of the reflector and not into the projector, its a weird setup.
