I have a hondata chipped p28 - can I switch to uberdata and back if necessary?
From what I understand, I can just unplug the blue box, and put the uberdata chip in my socket and I'm good to go...
Is this true, or do I need to do something else to be able to go back and forth between the two?
I want to do a driving/ tuning comparo of the two.....
anyone done it/ tried it?

My roommate runs Uberdata on a Hondata ECU. All he bought was the ECU off a kid so I am not sure what you have to unplug to make it work but you can use Uberdata on a Hondata ECU.

That's all you have to do to switch to Uberdata. The socketing procedure is the same for both if you wire up the datalogging for Uberdata.
I don't see much of a point. The only conclusion you'll come to is that tuning the Hondata is much quicker and easier, and the Hondalogger is better. The results will be equivalent if you spend enough time tuning both.

The point is that I have straight s200b and no datalogging or romulator, rom editor, 2 step, etc.
I want to get a temporary tune for my new setup and tune on the fly so I can make it to the dyno.
Street tuning = free
hondata tuning = $450 for local tuner.
