okay i'm starting a swap tonight on my 91 HF.
I have the following...
2000 b16a2 swap (complete)
1992 b17 swap (complete)

what do you guys recomend i do with the engines??? give ay combination possible.
I have the obd1 conversion harness and the b series motor mounts...

It depends on the condition of each trans and which mount kit you have. The b17 trans would be a good combo with the b16a2 for some quick revving fun, but if it grinds, and cable transmissions are known for grinding, then I would swap the entire b16a2 if you have the hydro b series mount kit.

 

besides the hook up for the shifting... are the mounts dfferent?
i bought "B series" mount for 88-91 CRX...

i really didn't know the trans were diff. "mountwise".

 

Yes hydraulic transmissions mount differently than cable transmissions. The pattern for the mount on the trans casing is different on cable and hydraulic transmissions.

i have an aftermarket cluh/fuel rail and cam gears...
hopefully i'll be done by sunday!

also i'll be using the gsr rear bracket and of course all the axles/int. shaft right?
or can i use the b16 with the gsr int/ shaft since they are much newer?
