Default All you Type-s owners

last night i saw a rsx-s at the races for the first time and from what i saw i'm pretty impressed with the car. i saw it beat a mustang, turbo si, and a modded prelude to name a few. i was wondering what kind of quarter mile times have you all achieved?

well the car has impressed me. i have a rsx-s and it has gotten faster as the engine has broken in. i got a injen intake and i pulled the exhaust off. just bydoing these 2 things i have noticed more power. the i-vtec kicks in harder and screams to 8200 rpm. top end has gotten better also. i have raced alot of cars from the celica gts which had no chance from the start and i had 2 other people besides myself in the car. pulled the gts from begining to end. i also raced a 2001 mustang gt and got him. he was at my bumper and i was still pulling. i also raced a older mustang gt 5.0, the boxy ones, and i got him by 2 cars leads. he was impressed, we pulled over and he wanted to see what i had under the hood. he almost **** himself when he saw that all i had was a intake.lol.. he was like " daymn". he said he runs a 14.9 , 14.8 at the track, so now i want to run my car and see what it can do. my car does better on the street then track. on the street i hardly peel out. falken aziens are the best. i have beaten alot of cars on the street. next i want to race my brothers 2001 type-R. he is pretty quick, but it should be a good race. what do you guys say?
2001 type-R vs. 2002 rsx-S
close race?
spanking?
raping?
give me some opinions.

I'll be God honest with you.

My friend had a 2000 PY Integra Type-R. It was BONE stock. I raced him about 4 times. I beat him once by a half a car, but that's because he launched REALLY bad. Didn't pay attention. The other three times, he beat me by 1-2 cars.

It got stolen, so he bought the new RSX-S since he couldn't find another Type-R. After he broke it in, he called me and wanted to see how fast his Type-S was. His RSX-S was also BONE stock. We lined up 3 times. I beat him all 3 times by about a car length. I was still impressed with the Type-S. We got Both these races on Tape to back it up. We always tape our races...

Now my friend is a great driver. I am a pretty good driver also. So you can say that we were about even in driving skillz.

With these two races, I can definately say that the Type-R is faster than the Type-S. Probly by about 3 car lengths.

i would say type R can kill type S as well.
but 3 car lengths, that's no way.

and I believe type S can definitly kill GSR.

this will never be an ending battle..basically it comes down to driver....plain and simple. and it will not beat the rsx-s by 2 cars..its not that fast.

You hit the nail on the head! Type R VS Type S is a straight up drivers race. What the type S loses in weight, it makes up for in gearing, torque, and traction (bigger tires) Its a drivers race to win or lose.

well whichever car you have, rsx-s, gsr, type R, you can gurantee you will lose to a mustang GT very badly So i really doubt that you took the GT on. sorry i have to call BS.

Ummm.....no. I raced a Roush and stayed right with him, 0-120. He was rather pissed when his paassenger was laughing and then said "that motherer is fast!" I got called out by a kid in a Type-S one night to race. I ran him and got him by at least a car and a half. True though, it will come down to the driver wether it's a ITR, RSX-S, or a Stang.

RSX vs TYPE R huh? MUAHAHAH >

I have already done this. we both threw it in second gassed it at exact sametime. THIS WASNT OFF THE LINE... but it was even start in second...

I WON!!! 3/4th of a car. mUAHAHA > A TYPE R is my ultimate preditor (because i used to own one) i want to race one off the line but i cant find one! !.... But yeah.... I had him by 3/4 car length all the way threw 4th and then traffic. LOL i was pulling everytime i shifted a little. I think this is because i was a much better driver than him. His car was butt stock i have intake and custom exaust thats it.

aiite guys latere

its all about driver now if you really beat that roush then kudos to you but sounds hard to believe but the rsx-s is fast i test drove one and i was impressed, according to a magazine that i read says that the rsx engine is like the s2000 engine with a cover over it

I think if both cars were stock it would be a driver's race

I have an intake only and have raced two type R's
1. Don't know what he had (exhaust at least) - we were dead even
2. He had a fair amount of mods and beat me more than slightly, but not embarassingly - on the same run there was a CRX w a b16 that I edged out
