Default NHRA Moroso Rent-A-Ride

I am kicking around the possibility of renting a car to the Pro racers who want to be elligible to compete at the NHRA Las Vegas Powerade event. The requirements to run the powerade Las Vegas race is that you have to make one qualifying attempt at the NHRA Moroso race. I know many people don't want to make the trip to Florida but do want to run in Las Vegas. We have a legal Pro FWD Integra, a legal Hot Rod Civic, and a legal All motor CRX that are available. Please IM me if you are interested. Here are the requirements.

Las Vegas, April 14-17, 2005
All Classes
1. Must attend the NHRA Sport Compact event at Moroso, April 2-3, 2005.

2. Must make at least one legitimate qualifying attempt at the Moroso event. Qualifying attempt is defined as staging under power, and taking the start signal.

3. All entries must be pre-entered for the Las Vegas POWERade event, via the normal NHRA on-line, pre-registration procedure available at http://www.nhraeventreg.com.

Thanks,

Bob

Its funny, because im sure nhra didnt put the rule so people can go run others car. But at the same time, I had the same thought already to come out and drive someones car and make a pass so we "could" have the option to race vegas if we were ready in time...

The points follow the driver, not the car, so this would be a legitimate way to get to Powerade!

Just like last year after we had the crash with Jeremy's car at Englishtown... the next race we used Norris's integra to keep the points going...

Great idea and I hope Pat sends Leevon!!! i would love to see that RSX in Vegas!
