Default Intake Manifold HELP!!

Can i swap an Ex intake manifold onto my DX motor??? I dont know because the throttle bodies are switched. the Dx which is the D16Y7 faces up and the ex which i think is the D16y8 faces normally to the side??

Please Help!!

For sale: 2 fosgate 12" subs in box and 600watt kenwood amp...make offer

For sale: 1999 EK hatch black, salvage, runs great very little damage $2000

yes you can the manifold will bolt right up to the motor, your intake stuff however will not. if you are going to be getting a short ram or something like that or all of the stock ex tubing then you will be fine.

The intake manifold will bolt right up. You will have to reuse the Y-7 throttle body, with a Y-8 throttle rotor.

Why cant i use the Y8 throttle body????

Because your ECU is set up for a three wire IACV, and with the EX throttle body you would have to use a two wire. If you get a manifold off of a 5 speed car, you will also have to make a block off plate for the Ex Iacv.


Or you could swap the head and ECU and do whats called a "mini-me" swap.
