When taking off the resinator box to the factory intake does that mess anything up or does it make any difference???

 

Be more specific....are you installing an aftermarket intake? Or just taking off the resonator?

 

ok.. i took the resonator box off the stock intake now does that have any effect on the airflow( bad or good) . other than sounding pretty nice???

 

is it just an open hose intake? if it is dont drive it or even idle it like that, you'll **** up your engine REALLY bad if anything gets in the combustion chamber but air. you need a filter..they only cost like $30 for a good one.

 

Removing the resonator might add some power. I don't think there have really been any tests on the effectiveness of doing it. It might add a couple hp across the board with a stock intake arm.

 

it will add more noise - or make it louder.
