Default obd2a-obd1 conv. questions

what do i need?...i have the conv. harnesss but im not sure what type of ecu to run p28??? anddo i need to change my distributor or get a new harness?...all the help i can get would be greatly appreciated..thanks

you just need a OBD1 ECU. i can't tell you what ecu you need. that depends on your setup. there are many ecus out there. p28, p75, p72, etc... you don't have to change your distributor or harness. the jumper does everything for u.

What type of swap are you doing?

If you have a single stage Vtec swap, go for a chipped p28, p29, or p30 ecu.

what jumper?? you mean the ecu conversion harness takes care of the distributor harness?

all u need is an obd1 ecu and the conversion harness that goes from the stock harness to the obd1 ecu
