Does stock radio in 95 LX have a coded theft protection circuit? such that you need the anti-theft code in order to conect disconected radio.. Is that true???
I am the second owner and don't have the code ..

Another question: what speakers (sizes, mount heights) will fit in front and rear doors, rear deck. and did anyone do custom install in rear doors? Any tips, link would help.

I want to create a surround system, will need to do a lot of custom work/modifications.

Yes stock radio does require a code. You can obtain the code at your local Honda dealership.

As far as speaker sizes:
6 1/2's in front doors
6x9's in rear deck.

As far as mounting depth check http://www.crutchfield.com

Putting speakers in rear door will require custom fabrication, but IMO it's not worth it, you can get better sound from the back deck than you ever will from a speaker mounted by your feet.

As far as the code goes you already go the answer, If you don't want to go to the dealership (which they shouldn't be charging anyone for a code) go to the Audio / Security / Video forum and a guy that works for honda has a thread there. You can give him your info and in a day or so he will get you your code.
