best tire?
ziex, proxies, t1s, and es100s.
im looking for the best all weather tire... i know azenis are nice, but the problem is the treadwear and traction in the rain.
im just not sure whats the best out of these four.
and if it matters going for 205/50/15's going on gt3's on a del sol.

I went with Goodyear Eagle F1 G3-D3. Very grippy in both dry and wet weather.

any reasons to back this up?

I've personally ran both of the Toyo's and I swear by them. The T1-s' are the most amazing tire I have ever driven on. I work at a very large tire/wheel company, and I would challenge anyone to out-grip or out perform the T1-s. I am currently running the proxes 4's right now. they have been in r&d for over 3 years and it was well worth the wait. They do give up a small amount of grip to the t1, but they last about twice as long as the t1-S wears down very fast. As far as a drag race tire, I would say the Proxes 4 is better just because it will spin a LITTLE bit, where the t1-S throws a fit when it starts slipping and bounces all crazy. The t1-S grips as well in the wet as it does in the dry, and treads water amazingly well. The Proxes 4 is a more realistic tire, the t1-S is the ultimate tire.
And the first person to get on here and say the Azenis' rules needs to go jump off a cliff. I put these on my car and took them back off in 300 miles. The first time I entered a corner in the rain, they hydroplained so bad and almost crashed my car.
Go with either Toyo's, you'll love them

they just really grip the concrete well for the street. when i have those tires on it feels like i am really griping the road. almost no understeer or over steer. perfect.
but it also depends a little on your set up.
but in general, they are a great tire all around !

how bad is the treadwear on the t1s?
any opinions on the ziex? the treadwear is rated longer than the proxes

i went from azenis to es100 and ill never get azenis again.
i got them for 58$ each ( 15/50/195 ) from tire rack. not a bad price at alll. i had 205 azenis before,.. id rather get the 195 cause they dont rub as much and are a smaller outter diameter eventho they are both 50 sidewall. so they look lower profile

Yes they will fit just fine. One thing that ALLOT of people don't know is that each tire manufacture rates there own tires, so you can't compare a treadwear or other ratings to eachother. There isn't a certain "board" or anything that evaluates all tires, so ignore the traction, temperature, and tread wear ratings. I was running 215-45-15 T1-S's on my car, cashed about 4 inches and I got maybe 15k on them....but that was WAAAY hard driving/drag racing. I flipped the tires on the wheels about every 5k, but I LOVED every minute of those 15 thousand miles!

I wasn't too fond of the ES100. They were great tires, but they were toast in a little over a month on my car
