Default tips on Civic HX

hey i am new at this.. gotta start somehow.. i have a 97 Civic Hx Sohc v-tec.. i am getting a b18c1 block and i need help in what to get on it and what would be good for a high compression ...can yall help me out .. thanks

umm..i think you have E-VTEC or VTEC-E, some **** like that. How about displacement?

wtf are you talking about man?! E-VTEC or VTEC-E and displacement?

VTEC-E is like economical VTEC or something like that. My VX has it and it saves a shitload of gas.

start with getting a b18c1 head, that might help. sorry for being a jack-***. it all depends on your goals. what do you want from the car? ask yourself that first.

Well If you have the B18c1 block. You can do a poor mans type-r. Which means you use a GSR block, a b16 head, and a type-r tranny. Dont bother getting the B18c1 head, you will get more hp with a b16 head. And If you want to get higher compression, replace the pistons with CTR pistons.
