Default Weather striping?

Hi guys on my black gsr i noticed when my passenger and driver windows came down some sort of weather stripping was flapping down. at the time i didnt think about it but i guess it flew away. it covers some screws i think and is about 1-2 feet long and maybe 1/3 inch wide. does this really do anything for my car?

Keeps water and wind noise out and keeps windows from rattling.

Yea it would be a good idea to replace them.
I would only buy OEM when it comes to weather stripping.
