Tried posting a poll, but the error screen kept appearing. If any of the MOD's can change this to a poll I would appreciate it. Currently, my Prelude is nordic mist metallic, and its a 1997. Very faded, and extremely touched up paint job.

My Prelude:




And, the colors that I have in mind. Jet black, even though Preludes do come in black, stock. Graphite grey pearl, from the Lexus IS300. Moonrock silver, from the UK S2000's. Cadillac pearl white, although Preludes do come in pearl white, stock. And finally, repainting it a slightly different stock Prelude color, crystal blue metallic.

Im diggin that white, but you would have to really stay on it to keep it lookin like that.

I would suggest a color that you think is pretty easy to maintain and wont show signs of wear and tear, esp from all the salt and crap you have to deal with in DE. I know you dont wanna have to do another paint job within the next 4-5 years.

 

crystal blue mettalic is a stock color for 5th gens? i wasnt aware of that.

word of advise. i would say away from the black, you will always have nasty swirl marks after every time u wash your car. i know cause thats the way it is with my repainted 4th gen. i would go with the Graphite grey pearl color

 

I say repaint it the same color if you paint it white or any other color than the stock color than your going to have to paint the door jams, trunk and inside the engine bay.

 

you forgot san marino red. Red is an awesome prelude color.

 

I like the black the best and for the swirls, you dont get them everytime you wash your car, you get them if your car isnt waxed and you wash it a lot

 

Graphite grey pearl is definitely a color that I am leaning to, at this point.

OMFG I never realized how gorgeous 5th gen black preludes are.

I love pearl white wingless Preludes, too. But then again black and pearl white both are stock colors on the 5th gen. Prelude.

That's why I am deciding between graphite grey pearl, etc.

From the picture your paint looks almost new. Just repaint it the same color if you think its faded.

Not to mention Nordic Mist is the best color ever
