Im a new owner of a 93 civic dx hatch. its color gray but it look more like black instead. anyways im getting my uncle to help me get it painted. he has a shop so it shouldnt be hard. Well im still undecided on what color i should paint it...I need some help or advice.. Heres what i narrow it down to...

Color Options:

Honda S2000 - Suzuka Blue Metallic
Honda Insight- Navy Blue Pearl
New Formula Pearl
Silverstone Metallic

Honda Pilot - Steel Blue Metallic

Honda Element - Sunset Orange Pearl
Fiji Blue Pearl

350Z- Le Mans Sunset

ONe more thing my uncle and friend said that i will get make fun of if i leave the stock hood black ....I'll explain.... i kinda like tha JDM look but i dont want to spend all my money just for a carbon fiber hood so i decide just leave it that stock gray and it does kinda look dark/black so it should stand out . I dont want to waste my money on the CF hood cause im going with a GSR motor and that already cost me $5000. and now im saving up for a Turbo kit that why i dont want to waste the money on CF hood and other junk. what do u guys think.??..

ANyone have any picture of those color i mention on their 92-95 civic hatch ? feel free to post it up...thanks for u time...hope u guys could help me out.

Try appearance section. Lots of choices there.

 

a local guy painted his hatch sazuka blue and it looks gorgeous. but really it's not up to us to decide for you, afterall you're going to be the one who sees it and drives it everyday.

if it was up to me i'd paint it silverstone metallic, but that's just me.

you doing the door jambs and painting the underside of the hood/trunk as well as the engine bay? if not, i think it looks tacky to have two colors. stick to the original color or paint the entire thing...a bit extreme, but i prefer a clean look.

i painted my hatch silver satin metalic the same color as the (UK TYPE-R) and it shines nicly, it's all up to you it's your ride, your color your styleee........

IMO if this is your daily driver, in the long run you'll want a color that does not stand out too much. I can just see your Le Mans Sunset boosted gsr hatch being stolen right now.

O, and paint your hood the same color as your car.

Take it to Earls and paint it black with a red stripe

Just ask my car. *getting it repainted sometime within the next year* Gonna be CLEEAN Frost White PEARL But.........HOW!?

Do a color that is not used by anyone else don't choose a color that some one all ready has and be like every one else.

My GTI is silverstone grey and i love it. But then again it is up to you

Dont leave it black, that will look gay and mess up your color scheme. Unless youre gonna do a two tone scheme going. I'd rather waste my money on a CF hood that has a cosmetic purpose and a weight reducing purpose as opposed to a "JDM" black hood
