DIY amber front signals 96-00 civic.
I like most people that black out their factory lights took out my factory amber cover. Well a few months later I wanted something darker and more amber then what I had so I called advanced auto parts and asked if they had my factory bulb but in amber in stock. They said no so I drove up there and found a bulb that looked just like my factory bulb but wasnt clear its part number is bulb 2357A and it fits and works perfect. To install them take the clip holding your fender lining off (the one right after you bumper screws) reach in and unscrew the factory bulb from the hoiusing then take the factory bulb out do the reverse for the new bulb waalaa.

I did the same thing last week. After i painted my headlights housings the clear turns were a little to ricey for me. I looked for a bulb but couldnt find an orange one. I ended up painting them with yellow and red paint cause i had no orange and didnt feel like gettin some.

No there not. There clear bulbs with a plastic amber cover over them. If you take out the amber cover your turn signals are only amber when there on. otherwise the cover makes them look amber all the time
