superchargers will add power throughout the entire powerband but can lose some in the upper rpm's. Turbo's you have to deal with lag but thats not to much of a problem and there is no limit on how much hp a turbo car can make, as long as the turbo is large enough and the block is built accordingly. Turbo IMO is far superior

For around town driving, you want to have more low end torque... which you get a lot of from a supercharger. But if you drive on the highway more than in town, I would then say turbo.

if you dont know enough about superchargers and turbos to be able to decide for youself and your gonna do one.. get a supercharger.. alot less tuning and less things to go wrong.

but.. if you search some instead of posting in the welding forum and read up alot and learn about both options, then turbo is prolly the way to go once you study it some more.

you could always get a quicker spooling turbo... but seriously, what honda driver wants massive amounts of torque under 2500rpm??

Uh... me?? Really, Honda engine does well after 3000 or 3500 rpm. But below that, we suck quite a bit to an extent.

I'm sorry but are you dumb? Hondas have nothing but top end... Question: If your always in high rpms with gearing why the hell would you want torque???? If you're gonna say launch... learn how to launch your car in high rpms then. If Honda wanted a torque monster they would have made one. Hense the accord with a V6 with 212 ft/lbs. Superchargers are nothing but dyno queens, they produce all these "numbers" on paper but JACK **** on the street. Believe me i had one, and never again will i get one. Turbo hands down!

friend had a jrsc on a b16a2 98 si, not sure on the dyno numbers but he ran 13.5 with the 10 psi pulley. then he got a turbo @ 8 psi and ran 13.1 and this is before it was tuned

I have had both and the turbo is better for track, bragging, coolness factor. But around town i liked the supercharger for fun driving. Don't get me wrong, turbo is fun to drive but I kinda liked the supercharger a little better. But when you line up with a Cobra, you better have more that 210 hp to the wheels...matt
