Default can bad axles cause wandering

My alignments ok and tires are fine, but my car wanders really easy and dont feel tight to the road. Could worn out axles cause it to wander really bad and make the car not feel solid? Also could upper balljoints cause this even if theres not play or slop in them but still might be bad? steering rack and tie rods are all tight.

eibach prokit
energy suspension masterkit
upper tiebar

i mean the car tracks all over the road, u gotta white knuckle the wheel most of the time. Any little crack or bump in the road throws the car really easy and its pretty scary.

Real scarry. i've changed to coil-overs, Energy bushings, upper shock tower bars in front and back, and lower tie on rear.

My **** still wanders all over god's creation.

Mine does the same thing ever since the swap was done. i got pretty used to it but my friends always complain if they drive my car how loose it feels.

EDIT: i changed my axles since the 1st set was bad and it still does it.

i think its the rack and pinion, mine does the same thing, its either that or just old bushings and stuff in the front end,

sounds like excessive bumpsteer.

Go get a professional wheel alignment and get the person to check your settings etc.

Bad tie rod can cause that too

Rack and pinion, tierods, wornout or rotting bushings. Check how my play you have (looseness) when you have to turn. Is there any amount of free play before the wheels actually repond? Do your tierod ends look chewed up and have a lot of free play (not tight)? Best of luck

Note: Jack the car up, secure it with stands on the rails. Then make sure the streering lock is undone (key in). With your own power at one of your front wheels, try to make them turn. See how much free play there really is. That can help in figuring out what is or is not wrong with yourt steering/suspesion system.

I had exactly the same problem. Especially when I would throttle on the freeway.

I replaced the front control arm bushings and the problem is gone.

I would say its your bushings. The axles are only there to supply power to the wheels, a worn bushing will cause your sttering to feel loose or wander on the road, especially at highway speeds.

if tire wear is normal, check your caster. sounds like you need a little more positive caster. that could come from chassis damage. Toe out may also cause that, but caster does not cause wear, while toe does. Also check your rack alignment. a crooked rack could cause bump steer.
