Wiring Harness
When your doing a motor swap i know you need to change wire harnesses.....but is there anyway you can use a 99 ex ecu..........bc the si an the ex has the same ecu.....is it possible
You can use the same wiring harness, but you have to use a different ECU. The SI and EX ecu's are different
Edit: Maybe I'm confused on your question. Which harness are you talking about? The engine harness or the ECU portion? Is your car obd2a or obd2b? But as for the ecu's, the car will start and run on the ex ecu, but the fuel mapping and everything will be different than the SI ecu. Some one please correct me if I'm wrong.
