Default quick radio question

i need my radio code but i do not feel like removing the radio as it seems to be a very tedious procedure (removing entire console, etc., i did it on an accord before). how do people steal these so fast?!

is there another way?

you shouldnt have to remove the entire console at all? the radio along ith the tray should both come out alone seprately.. i know mine do. why would the code be back there tho? wouldnt that defeat the whole point of the code in the first place? i know i had to go to a dealer to get mine

yes you need to remove the radio to get the serial number which you give to the dealerships to get the radio code. The one by my house always gives it to me for free if I have the serial number. It should be easier to remove the stereo in an integra than it is in your accord. This web page has directions to remove it:

You just need to remove the center console which isnt hard. Shouldnt take more then 10 minutes tops. Someone gave me this link a week ago when i asked about factory pocket and aftermarket HU. Follow the first few pages on removal of factory head unit. btw, the site itself has tons of info to familiarize yourself with your integra.

You can also get help for your code from this guy.

nooooo- all u need is the vin number for ur car. asuming the radio is the original radio from that car. the database is set up by vin... ive done it twice already.
