as long as you have enough fuel (ie. good fuel injectors, fuel pump, enought fuel pressure) and proper knowledge about nitrous, i dont see how you could hurt your engine.

just do a lot of research (ie. read threads and FAQs from nitrous suppliers) before purchasing your kit

<~ currently drives a 98 accord 4 cylinder running dry 50 shot from a venom kit, havent had any problems and my car has almost 135,000 miles

i wouldnt worry. ive seen 2 blown up motors with nitrous, and each was because of user error. (timing was advanced & sprayed from a stand still)

if its auto and you plan on spraying often then dont expect the tranny to last very long. those 6th gen auto trannies are fragile it seems. ive been reading so many threads about them dying.

ive sprayed 50 shot on my 93 accord with 153.000 on it and no problems just read up on it and install it right make sure your clutch is in good shape if its a 5 speed and replace the fuel filter and just make sure the fuel system is in good working order.

everything is completely stock (injectors, fuel pump, spark plugs) and yes it is auto transmission. i was mainly worried about blowing the tranny, not the motor.

that worry is well founded. Our tranny's my friend, suck a fat one.

theres one dude who posted in an archived thread about NOS who runs nitrous and had to replace his tranny. do a search and PM him, he can answer any questions you might have 'bout NOS, unlike most of us, he has experience with that gas. he's not full of gas when it comes to the subject either. PM him
