i have a 1990 integra ls . well i snapped a axle because i guess i lowered my car lower then it was suppose to go. im guessin it hit on the oil pan or something else and cracked in half. i took everything apart and i see that part of the axle is still in the transaxle. iv tried everything to get it to come out but it won't work. does anyone have any suggegstions?

 

what do you mean part of the axle? like a piece snapped off? is it a piece with splines? or is it the snap ring?

 

its the thick part of the axle....near the end goin in towards the transmission.....where the boot is, i guess the boot cracked and the axle fell out of the other part of itself.....i noticed its not broke just the boot is...seemed that it fell out of place while i was driving but i got a new one anyways....any ideas?

 

well when i pop out axles i use a pry bar between the transmission case and the axle. it should just pop right out.
