Default For Those With Full-Race Traction Bars...........

how much adjustability are you getting. I have a set on and did an alignment and the bars would only give me 1.3 degrees of positive caster. I am wondering if I got too long of adjusting rods. btw, this is on a 1996 civic coupe.

thanks.

if the caster is 1.3 degrees possitive then you have the rods too short, you tightened them too much. set teh car on teh ground and set the length to were the bars dont pull the lca forward and dont push them back any either. then if you have caster problems look into bent components

edit- reread the post- mis understood it. take the bars off and see what the alignment is at. if the same then start looking for bent components

i have seen up to +7 degrees of caster, there's something wrong with your install or the bars. i suggest you post pictures of the bars on your car, so that other people can chime in!

Yes, seems like the FR bars are too long on my eg also. Spoke to Geoff about this, he said that I could cut the bars down a little. Be carefull not to mess the threads up, its best to have a thread chaser on hand after you do this.
