50k boosted miles, beaten hard daily for 3 years. and by hard i mean 5+ redlines a day and frequent runs to 130+. was on a stock block. until my b/c took a **** and overboosted to 25+ psi...bent 3 rods and broke a ringland.

I ran for just under 20k miles... or maybe it was like 25k miles... I don't even remember anymore @ 10psi, with 3 or 4 track days included. It was my daily driver until I melted a piston running open dp, overboosting on a 1.75 bar... It was a stupid move but it was pulling so hard and I shifted to fourth and was gonna pull and out and... boom. I kind of had a feeling it was going to happen before I made the shift... but a little part of me wanted it to go so I could build it.

Now built, 1500 miles and going strong

Matt

That makes 3. The creator of this thread is referring to his ITR.

my Turbo ITR has JE pitons, eagle rods and crower valvetrain. Sleeves are stock, pushing 400whp since day one.

The new Turbo ITR that Ben talks about is just finished and will begin driving after the winter. 300whp with stock internals, only thicker head gasket and vafc hack. I hope it will hold as long as my baby

Engine boostet when it has around 100.000km on the clock.
boostet around 40.000km with 1,2bar and 7:1 CR stock internals making around 300 WHP

since 1/2 year and 7000km i run 0,6bar and 10.2:1 CR stock internals making 236 WHP.

so far absolutly no problems.

only thing that gave up was the clutch last month...

5 years, 70k miles, crap beatin out of it everyday, horrible blowby for the last year, very lazy maintentance. (sometimes waited till 5-6k to change oil) Finally destroyed a piston.
d16z6, greddy black box (yeah thats right), and 6 psi, occasionally spiking to 8
