oxidization owned my car...
looks like a rainy cloud on the top of my beater...
i bought 1500 1000 and 320 grit sand paper along with some black primer...
dont have a clue about what im doing though..... Are these grits even right?
I searched and found some people say a 3m scuff pad or somethin..... i just want to sand it good and give it a little primer.. any suggestions? thanks

Keep the paper off the car until you know what you're doing. You'll make the problem even worse. If you don't care (I guess since it's your beater, you could experiment a little) go with the highest grit you can find (like 2000, 2500).
what were u intending to do?
sand off the paint cancer then put the black primer on?
i would jsut sand off all the paint, then just spray ont he new crap. might as well do the whole car too

you have to work your way up the grit scale. Use good judgement and pick one that is necessary to get the oxidiation off. I'm assuming there's probably clearcoat chipping too, so it's gonna be some work to get the layer of clear off. Once the clear is off, then use the high grit to even it out..
