When i start my car the engine light is suppost to come on for a second, but it does not. What could the problem be?

 

Your bulb could be burned out. That would be the first thing that I check.

 

There is many out in the Auto world that is afrade of that (lil ole lite) CEL. so when it comes on they pull out the bulb and sell the car fast as they can. I have 2 Accords and both had the bulb removed and when replaced the light was on and found error codes that fixed then easly with that light. Check the light

 

what year is your car with obd1 u can check the error codes with a paperclip

 

and obd 2
