Quote for the whole bumper cover was like $800. I don't even remember it was so stupid. Just go and ask them they still sell them brand new, and they have to for 10 years after the car is made.

they dont have to sell them at acura for the 10 years after the last year produced because it was an optional part the only thing they have to sell is the front lip which i got quote for for over 400 bucks for just the lip...so i went out and bought a gsr with the kit installed from the factory when it was bought new. i sold some side skirts paint green 2 mouths ago to someone off this site for like 400 bucks plus shipping

if you guys do a search, there is a guy who has 3 of these kits. all new in green color. his price is cheap (400ish). see if you can find him. i asked him about it a couple months ago and he still had them. i'm tempted to buy all 3 then resell them to you at 1000 a piece hehehe

Maybe you are right I'm honestly not sure, my reason of logic was that I recently went just to see how much (and if I could still order them) through the actual dealer. They said that they still had the whole OEM kit in production and able to be there in a week. That's just the guy at the dealer and he could have meant in stock until they are gone but I doubt it. Either way they had the quote for each side (they had the ITR OE sides as an optional part listed WITH the front lip and sides, not a special out of production piece).
Either way, new unpainted from the dealer the side skirts were about $400 a side for the 97spec ITR sides (I don't know if they were different in 98-01) and the front lip itself was $430ish.
