Pulling Transmission Question
ok, I have an issue. When it says Remove Rear mount, Do I just remove the middle pin??? or the mount from the trans? Im a tad confused on what to do with the mounts.
I searched a little bit, but there unclear.

On the rear mount (the one near the firewall), it's easiest for me to remove the three bolts from the transmission, and let the mount flop around. It's hard to get that middle bolt out while the engine and transmission are still in.
The passenger-side mount I remove the middle bolt that holds the tranny mount to the chassis part of the mount, and I also remove the mount from the transmission housing itself. There's a bolt you can see from above, and another (blind) one that you have to get at through the passenger-side wheelwell, down below.
The front mount (nearest the radiator; Honda calls the one on the timing-belt end the "front mount" because technically it's on the "front" of the engine - which of course sits sideways and confuses most of us with their lingo!) - anyway, the one just behind the radiator is usually easiest to remove by removing the center bolt, then removing the two bolts that hold the bracket on the transmission. Pull that part out the top. It's tight in there.
Removing those mounts, bolts, and brackets should make it easy for you to have enough room to slide the tranny off the engine and lower it out the bottom.
