I just got my accord back with a 95 jdm h22 and its retarded. The best thing ever vtec is great. I was racing some hopped up chevy truck and kept up with it the driver about dropped his beer haha j/p. After months of waiting i finally got my car working and it was damn worth the weight!

I was advised to go with an h22 for my 97 accord, if mine is an automatic, will it make that much of a difference? Thats a big investment to go with.

I am sure it isi worth it in an automatic also i have a 5 speed and it was worth it. Why not swap it to a 5 speed its much more fun to drive that way. Some guy on here has an auto h22 i can't remember who which makes me kinda useless just do a search i know someone has one.

 

My H22 automatic 94 Accord ran a 14.8 before I got the NOS kit installed, and with some faulty Venom POS injectors. Seems worth it to me.

It is definitely worth it in an automatic. I just picked mine up on 12/31/01 and it is sick. You definitely feel a boost when VTEC kicks in.

 

What ECU are you guys using for auto? I got the JDM h22a auto ECU, and it idle is CRAZZZZZZZy. I tried to floor the car and my RPM is like 7000 RPM, and my car doesnt move for anything. Its like driving in the same gear the whole time, never shifts until i let go of the pedal and wait a few seconds and then it finally shifts. Could my ecu be mess up?

 

Sounds like your tranny is messed up.

 

you have a major transmissoion slippage issue, your drive band could,be screwed up or a number of other things, I suggest a trip to your local transmission shop or dealer
