Is there any way to get a carb number for jackson racing superchargers if you purchase them used? It sucks they arent engraved on the manifold or anything, and i guess it's impossible to get a carb # without purchasing their product... So even though their product is carb exempt, without that little blue paper, your supercharger setup is illegal. I believe this is highly unfair....

The carb numbers should be able to be distributed for say, 20 dollars each, so us californians and other non smog exempt states can continue using jacksons products legally with piece of mind!

Any inside help would be greatly appreciated

 

Moss Motors doesn't manufacture the JRSC. Their position in the heirarchy is officially "distributor." Based on personal experiences dealing with them over British sportscar parts, feel free to substitute "don't care about the customer and will try to **** you" for "distributor."

If you offer money, Moss' answer will either be hell yes, or you'll get lost in a bunch of conquest-by-committee type red tape.

 

the first time i called he said sure ill ship you one within 1 - 2 days 1 week past i called back and he said i need an invoice.

 

just call jackson racing, its like $5 for the carb sticker.

 

there is no number for jackson racing only moss motors and they wont sell me one i dont think

That is not true, who told you that??? The CARB EO number is listed right on the California Air Resources Board website. Just because you don't have a little sticker for your kit does not mean it is not CARB exempt. The sticker doesn't mean ****.
