a good radiator to replace OEM factory radiator?
Im boosting y 95 hatch with ls swap n i was wondering what is a good brand and radiaitor to use for it and what car should i get it for integra or the civic hatch?
I have an integra so i have a b18b boosted. I used a used delsol dual core radiator. I used to have the full length one and now this one holds the same water because the radiator is half as long but twice as thick. Although I have less cooling area I have no problems at all!
I suggest going to radiator barn and picking up the delsol vtec dual core radiotr for like 80 bones. Why spend extra money on a koyo or fluidyne when they provide no performance advantage even in the summer. A radiator either works or doesn't period! Unless you plan on running some serious HP then a OEM replacement is more then enough. PLEASE SAVE YOUR MONEY!

im runnin a gsr turbo in my civic and i use a fluidyne with FAL only cus I got it cheap and hardly used. bang for the buck is gonna be the del sol dual core.

Do the aftermarket rads such as fluidyne make enough difference to justify the price? will they prolong you engines life or really help from overheating?

RELAX, i knew they didn't make a whole lot of difference, but i assumed that they would have some clear advantages over stock. Next time a simple no and there sh*tt or something like that would really be much more appropriate. Thanks

I think an aftermarked Rad does better than OEM, but it probably doesnt provide that much better until you really get up there in HP. Its like a stock rod and an aftermarket. The aftermarket is just made better and gives you piece of mind.

not really.....your engine and oil made to run at a certain temperature...too hot and that's bad...too cold and that's bad too. an oil cooler is bad if the oil is too cold since it won't work and produce it's viscosity at the cold temperature so unless you are running some serious HP don't get an oil cooler. A lot of people that make 300whp don't run oil coolers (Me

not really.....your engine and oil made to run at a certain temperature...too hot and that's bad...too cold and that's bad too. an oil cooler is bad if the oil is too cold since it won't work and produce it's viscosity at the cold temperature so unless you are running some serious HP don't get an oil cooler. lol, thanks, thats what i was thinking. I think i would get a fluidyne rad. Although it is a waste of money i would like to have it if i got the GReddy turbo kit or JRSC kit i want.
