Default * TiAl WG * what psi ?

I bought a Tial 38mm WG from a local guy. Its NIB and never used, he also bought it second hand that way.

So neither of us really know what spring it has in it.

So what is the easiest way to tell? Just pull it apart and see what color it is? Is there any chance I could mess it up by taking it apart ? Thanks

You can tell the spring by the color.

<TABLE WIDTH="90%" CELLSPACING=0 CELLPADDING=0 ALIGN=CENTER><TR><TD>Quote &raquo;</TD></TR><TR><TD CLASS="quote">bar PSI color
0.25 3.63 Small Yellow

0.4 5.80 Small Red

0.5 7.25 Small Green

0.6 8.70 Small Blue

0.7 10.15 Big Yellow

**HP applications are dual springs**

0.8 11.60 Big Red

0.9 13.05 Big Green

1.0 14.50 Big Blue
</TD></TR></TABLE>

Just make sure to holde the two halfs together when you remove the last two bolts, otherwise the spring will push the halfs apart and the last bolt could be damaged.

Everyone up above me is correct

I took it apart with a regular allen key. What a bitch to get it back on

Mine was a red spring. I wasn't sure exactly what made it a big or small spring so I just e-mailed Tial with the SN, and PN on top of the wastegate.
