hey im new to the site.... i have a EK hatch, current mods are
2 1/4 zorst..high flow cat,2" mandrel bent extractors
cold air intake into the stock air box,k&n pannel filter with 3" ram intake from the box to the TB...
lowered 2 1/4 ", rear sway bar and front strut and camber kit....
17" myrtle zest wheels
full alpine v12 sterio

i was wondering what im better off doing? keep doing up my d16y4 non vtec, or swapping the head over to a sohc vtec....?? i was considering a turbo conversion in the furture... any kits made for the 98 civic u could suggest????? or what ecu could i put in the car now so i could tune it up so i can get more n/a power???

Check those out, welcome and learn to use the search function. It will teach you many things.

Turbo kits, are something most people here like to stay away from. They are costly and you are limited to what they have as far as what's included in the kit. Most of the FI guys piece thier turbos together. But my personal preferance for a kit would be the Edlebrock SOHC kit (only for the d16y8 though).

As far as the ECU, hondata and uberdata are both very good for tuning. Uberdata is much cheaper than hondata. One thing about staying N/A, you won't get much power out of a N/A SOHC.

welcome! try searching for your questions b4 asking some general ?'s with the seach function in the corner of the page. Otherwise u will nothing but bad remarks from some of the veterans here, and they are not nice. Good luck on your quest.

I would either swap a b-series, or if you wanna stay d-series swap a y8 in there. there are endless amounts of turbo kits for the d-series and b-series. It all depends on your budget, if you d-series I recommend building your own kit. go to homemade turbo, they have lots of info on this, also turbod16.

IMO if it was me i would swap a vtec head, obd1 convert harness, and run uberdata.
