Since when? Have you ran 17x7.5s on your crx? Sorry, gotta call bullshit on that answer. Yes, you can run 17x7.5's without rubbing. I've ran them on a 1.5" inch drop without rubbing and still had plenty of room. If you are running stock suspension you will have plenty of room.

Just to let you know the ride is gonna suck with the 17"s, You might want to go with 16's or even 15's cause 17's make it look like wagon wheels. But if your really stuck on 17's go for it just don't drop it to much or you will rub.
u can run 17's or 18's on stock suspension without rubbing, lowering in anyform prolly need to roll the fenders, sometimes a whole lot. But basically with any drop your gonna rub unless u can fine tune ur suspension, i.e.
coilovers, etc
coilovers, etc
Whats with the butthurt people. Here's the deal. If you have a lowered car, no negative camber (yes that's right, camber kits, what a novel idea), and 17x7.5 rims w/o stetched tires they will rub. I know there are exceptions, don't waste your time telling them to me. I just gave the guy the short answer. And to the idiot that told me to go back to the dsm forum, you don't know me or how expansive my knowledge of hondas is. Chances are I know plenty more than you and have built more engines and have done several other things you have not.
good for you!! chances are you dont know jack **** about me so quit trying to build yourself up and bullshit your way into feeling better. you must have missedd all the !!!! marks after my go back to the dsm forums and it was a joke. since your so smart maybe my dealership should hire you instead of wasting all that money on me to qo back to honda school every year and a half. **** why dont you go ahead and refund my parents money for degree to while your at it. better yet suck my dick. you suck and so do your one word answers that offered no explanation at all

Ouch that's rough. we are still learning...this thread is slowly turning into a sandbox full of kids with their toys.
Point is....17" will fit, but will be greedy on turning.

That wasn't directed towards you man. Don't worry about it.
I didn't start the mud slinging. I just answered the question quick and short. And to Douglas, you can't win an argument by trying to insult me and telling me to suck your dick. If you lower yourself to a level of a 6 year old, then you argue, you appear to others to be just that, a trite adolescent in front of a keyboard sheilded by anonymity. And I don't have to bullshit my way into feeling better. This is just an internet forum. I know the extent of my knowledge, you do not. If you didn't like my answer you could have said you disagreed and said your part. But you chose not to and resorted to insults, very tasteful.

honestly people, there was nothing wrong with any of his answers, if you put a 17x7.5 on a car it WILL rub on turns and bumps. unles you throw alot of camber and streched tires onto it. hell my my 15x7's (+42 offset) rubbed on slight bumps till i rolled the fenders. And Im dropped 2 inches with -1.5 front camber

Can't agree with you on that. I run 17s on two rexes and on the 90 I run 17x7s slammed low on coilovers and I get ZERO rubbing turning going over bumps etc.

I envy you.
I rub with 15" X 6.5" with a +38 offset and 195 tires.
I had to lift the car up over an inch so far.
I still need to lift about 1/4" more to hopefully eleminate all rubbing.
With the 14" steelies I was dropped to about 2-1/2". (That's two and a half inches off the ground!) Now I'm probably 4" (haven't measured) and I don't slide the floorboard over speed bumps any more. I guess there is a benfit for being up higher
