when does a b16 stop making power
IIRC, the b16a reaches max HP around 7800RPM. One advantage of increasing the rev limit of the B16 is gearing. You can stay in a given gear longer and when you upshift be right in the heart of the powerband.
QUESTION= when does a b16 stop making power (HondaDelsol17)
ANSWER= when it is lined up next to a b18.....J/K man
stock....i would say about 7800 but if you build it right you wont lose power ever....

7500rpm is where it maxes out and the torque crosses hp at about 5.2-5.4krpm. so keeping it between 5500 and 7600 on an S1 tranny is the best

i would beat your ls crx vs my b16 crx. off the line and walk you all day long. and i'm stock with bolt ons. a stock b18a vs stock b16a you can't compare. our small cars don't need torque.
