universal sliders usualy mean you have to make them fit. Im not sure. I put some rci racing buckets in my camaro and had universal sliders. I had to weld up my own brackets and drill holes in the pans and run a support bar under the pan where the holes were drilled. You can make brackets that go from the oem holes and drill holes from your unversal sliders in to the the adapter brakets you made. I used "L" brackets.

i think there the exact same height. i do know that i sit much higher in my teg seats than the stock ones. quick couple of questions. what store in ebay did you get them from, how much $$$ and is the material a good sturdy fabric?
I was always just thinking that you could just take your stock sliders and weld them to the bottom of the new seat. Well, unless the bolt holes line up. That way it would be a perfect fit.

unfortunatly the bolt holes dont line up perfectly, and welding is out of the question because the cloth covers all the metal. tomarow im going to drill some holes in the stock sliders and see if i cant make it fit right. if i get it working right Ill do a little write up. im thinking it should to be easy but Ebay always throws your curves

the ebay stor is the xtremediecast, i paid $100 plus $150 for shipping, the fabric is thick but on the bolsters there isnt any extra material so dont expect it to last forever, 5 years if you take good care of it is my guess but i have nothing to base that off of. just a number that sounds about right. they fell really good, fit me nicely in the sholders and if i wanted to do 4 points the holes are right at my sholders. and im about 6'. overall im pretty happy with them just need to get them in the car now

The crx seats seem to sit way lower than the hatchback seats. When I put them in my old hatch it felt literally inches lower. But it could have just been my mind playing tricks on me
universal sliders usually mean its gonna take some hacking to get it to work,
i wonder if those so called "universal" sliders actually bolt on with no mods to ANY car :/
thats the reason i dont get any seat...no one makes any damn seat rails for our cars...i think they dont, im talking about direct bolt on NO mods needed :/ theers always some mod u gotta do

Yeah you have to make universal sliders work on your application. There's two types, height adjustable (90 degree "L" shaped on ends) and non height adjustable. Both require different brackets.
I have the ebay seats in my 90 crx and they look/work great. I bought some weapon r seat brackets from ebay also ($85) and i also used the sliders they gave me. The sliders bolt to the seat with no problems but i had to drill new holes in the seat brackets to acomadate for the seats but nothing that you can't handle. All in all the seats were a great investment and the only problem is that the sliders and the seat brackets make the seats sit too high up and me being almost 6 feet I hit my head on the roof sometimes. I'm gonna be taking the sliders out soon and just use the brackets and that should lower the seats to around stock height. I can get pics of the seats in my car if anyone is interested.
almost ALL aftermarket seats do not have to hold up to ANY safety standards. i have a close friend that heads the dist. of TenzoR and you guys should see the **** they get about their seats that failed in accidents.
im not tryin to bag on anybody but as far as i know the exspensive seats are exspensive for a reason. its like droping a k20 into a crx and using a fmu and fpr for fuel managment.
i've seen too much bad **** from wanna-be race seats and four points bolted to the floor...please people oem is your friend
my s2000 seats didnt line up either.
what i did was take the stock rails, and had these welded to them. once the weld points were painted black, it used the stock 4 holes in the floor, and it slides perfectly.
i paid 300$ for the labor.

But what about Sparcos and Recaros? The Torinos I have are heavier than stock seats, which should mean they're built pretty damn sturdy, right?

i'm using the stock seat belts for my seats as i have no reason to use a harness and i don't have a roll cage. I just wanted a seat that would hold me in better for agressive driving and to get the interior a better look
