Default ID vs. eD vs. RE

can everyone rate these three brands in the order they think they belong in (best being first). When i mention these brands i refer to their quality as a whole when it comes to their subwoofers. for the psat two years ive been wanting to go with Infinity Perfects, but after reading about these three subwoofer brands I've narrowed it down to these three. so can someone rate them for me because i don't know which one to get. i guess what i'm looking for is value. who has the best subwoofers for the price and who simply has the best subwoofers out of the three. please help!!! i am CONFUSED with which one to get! i love SPL and SQ combined.

each brand has many different lines, so if you want useful input, you should narrow things down.

SPL and SQ eh...

Then IDmax or RE XXX or eD's top line, is it still the 'A' line? I hope they revised that line like they did the K/O lines.

SO those are your only 3 options from these companies. I guess some people may point you to the RE SX though, but XXX is plenty loud.

uhh...

IDmax = won't require as much power, still loud
RE XXX = power hungry, a bit louder, still sounds great
eD = sorry, no experience with the new lines, but I'd put their older stuff behind these other 2 subs.

Heres an awesome amp, puts out a lot of power.Probably too much for what your looking to get,but there are 1000s and 1500s for even cheaper.

Is this gonna be for your daily driver, and you just want it too be loud?Or what to do you want to do with this system, give an idea what you looking for?

just because the RMS on the idmax is 1k doesn't mean u have to feed it 1k. That is just the thermal limits and god knows how many watts u can send that sub per amount of time without blowing it.

the max's are very efficient and will reach xmax on as little as 500 watts or so....the 500/1 should give you good results

are you sure it's pot your smoking and not lines of blow - your mind works faster then any pot head I know, and trust me, I know a lot of them....

if you have the 500/1, run it, see how it works. IDMAX singular or plural - if plural, the 500/1 will be a little weak IMO, however, Mic Wallace hit the cap (135db) with a pair of IDMAX's sealed bridged from two channels of a Arc 4150 (about 320W) in his integra.....

yes. i love weed. i love it so much i can distinguish it from coke. hey.. what about hifonics and orion? i dont have a jl 500/1, but the point of my question was to decide whether to just buy a hifonics or orion amp for much cheaper than jl 500/1. i will if someone tells me that they put out their rated power easily. cuz the hifonics claims to put out 1000 watts in 4 channel i think. and thats a hell of a lot than what the JL amp claims to put out. so should i just get the hifonics for a lot cheaper than the JL? and wont it be a lot more power for the price??

PS - what does "hit the cap" mean??

Ok I will give you some insights.

Don't get the Hifonics.

I would suggest the mtx 1501d they go for same price. MTX build Quality and ratings are much more reasonable. I am not hating on Hifonics. I am talking from experience. The orion amps are badass. If you can afford it I say go for it. Keep in mind also the ID max are badass woofers. I would be getting some soon id max 12 d4. Pm for details Remember spl and sq is two different things. The Idmax will do some damage also.

Also a stock honda electrial system will not do 1000watts. It takes a lot of amps to do 1000watts and run the car. Also depends on what voltage the amp does rated power.

you don't need a 4 channel amp. You need a good momo amp. allways remember you buy cheap stuff it will work like cheap stuff. make sure get the proper wiring fuse etc.

You don't need anything special too run 1000 watts.I've been running 1450watts for over a year now, with no problems.Running a yellow top would be the furthest i'd go to upgrade anything.
