jus dropped in a b18b in a del sol, was wondering what shift linkage do i use?

 

Vtec Del Sol.

 

Delsol B16 linkage

Most of you guys are wrong, only the DOHC VTEC Del Sol will work in his Del Sol unless you cut and weld.

 

so wait, theres a difference in the del sol b16 and and a civic b16? im lost.

you need a shift linkage from a B16 Del Sol,period.

Yes there is a difference, now if I can find a picture of a regular b series and a DOHC Del Sol.

So you're saying the actual stock model of the car MUST be the VTEC model and not the S or the Si model? I thought the bay was the same size, just different linkage depending on the motor, not the chasis model.

its b/c the different trannies and location, make sure you get the vtec shift linkage for a del sol... when i got my swap i forgot to tell them i had a del sol so they sent me a civic linkage, didnt fit at all. no civic linkage will fit so dont let anyone tell you different. too bad i didnt tell hmotors i had a del sol, coulda gave me like a week more of driving

 

Does anyone have pics comparing the del-sol B16 shift-linkage with the civic B16 shift-linkage?? Just curious.

The civic B16 linkage is the same as the GSR linkage!!!

 

all B series shift linkages are the same, as a matter of fact I have a b16a swap in my sol and i used an old set of gsr linkage till i was able to get a new set. one of my friends did an ls swap in a sol and he used the linkage from a 99-00 civic si.
