Default Exhaust rubbing issues

I'm looking into grabbing the Tanabe Hyper Medallion exhaust. However, there are some fitment issues. The tip clearly rubs against the bumper.

That will end up looking like this soon enough. The owner of this Accord below recommended just using a razor to smooth out the cutout the exhaust will make, and just leave it.

Longer hangers are an option, but would it be an easy fix if I were to do it myself? Would SS hangers do the trick? And I can't leave it in the original position because I will be getting a rear lip soon enough. By the way, my bumper is brand new, and I'd rather not ruin it.

Thanks in advance for any help.

a good exhaust shop should be able cut and weld on longer hangers for you for fairly cheap.. ask around your local exhaust joints.. good luck my friend.

Some people said that new hangers would make it move around a hell of a lot. But I don't see any reason for that to happen if they are just as strong as the stock hangers.

I'd rather not do that. It's a brand new bumper, and plus, I'll be getting a rear lip soon.

then you might want to get the rear lip before you change the hangers..so you can make it firt the rear lip properly
