i swapped a SOCH ZC into my 99 civic the ZC is non vtec and the civic had a D16Y8 vtec engine (I also had to convert from obd2-b to obd2-a ZC engine is a 97)BUT my main problem is that the ZC's idle control speed censor has three wires to it and the civic's only has two.What do i do i still have the vtec engine the head is good also (the ZC is 1.5 the civic 1.6 will the head fit)and do i have to run vtec oil pressure line for the vtec head.Also will it run with the ICS censor disconnected.and do you know where on the ecu the extra wire go's.Or where i can find out

 

I can't answer your question, but I can ask why you traded a D16Y8 for a ZC non VTEC.

Why?

 

D16Y8 blew the bottom end, got a good deal on the zc, only has 2000 miles on the engine,and plan to boost it so the lower compression will help
