I HAVE MY CBR954 ITB SETUP NEAR COMPLETE AND IM LOOKING FOR A CAM SHAFT NOT GEAR THAT WILL BEST SUIT THIS APPLICATION. I HAVE A D16Z6 AND IM ONLY GONNA REV PROBABLY TILL 8000 MAX, MAYBE 7600, ANY DIYERS OUT THERE WITH AN OPINION PLEASE POST SOMETHING. THX.

 

i would say the zex 59300 cam is great for pretty much any setup and you can get them fro 190 bucks u cant beat the deal. It should make power to around 7500-8000 rom so it will be good in that regard

woops my bad , but thanx for the input. i hear good things about that 1 and the crowers cam shaft. do u have any particular choice of head gasket 4 high comp.?

 

get a custom cometic headgasket, thats what i have been using, works great , i'm not sure what oem headgaskets you can use to raise/lower compression, there was a site that did it, maybe some one could chime in with it

 

were in this oblong world did u find those cams for $ 190.00? i can't seem to find them. for that price anywere only $240.00+shipping

i can only find those for about 240.00 and the crowers for about 300.00+. this is a low budget winter thing so skrew the cams i guess.

 

I paid 230$ shipped on ebay for the zex cam....you wont get anything and cheaper except maybe an obx and i have no idea how those hold up.

 

i got my zex cam from ebay for 190 plus shipping which was like 7 bucks... just wait there will be a deal on there, and it was brand new as well
