Default headers

theres most likely been a million topics about this. but i'm lazy...

is there any 4 - 1 header for a civic hatch that does NOT require me to cut into the front member?

what motor do you have??? if it is a d series then you don't have to cut the front x member. if it's a b series then your will have to cut the stock one, or you can get a modified front x member where it will allow the header to bolt on without any cutting.

no.

I have a DC 4-1 header. i just wacked the front cross member with a hammer and bent the tab down to make more room.

you could always buy a new crossmember that has made clearance for the larger headers on the market.

Stock motor = yes for 4-1 header aftermarket.

Get a big hammer and bang the lip of the crossmember..
Or buy and aftermarket member..

Just to let you know the 4-1 header is going to hang very low..To low for my comfort..

hmmm anyone know about the DC Gt2 Header... apperantly its like the type r and if it is then a big hammer aint gunna do it

also any clearence issues with a 1 inch drop in the front and a 1.3 in the back
